My mom always jokes that she would love to move to Little Rock one day. I’m pretty sure she isn’t joking. If you’re trying to guess why she would consider Little Rock, I’ll give you a hint…it has to do with us. Little Rock is a very dog friendly place. We have now been a few times and everytime we come back it gets more dog friendlier. Below, I have highlighted all of my favorite places for you and your hoomans to visit. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

 

Lucky Lou’s

In the heart of downtown Little Rock, is a little place called Lucky Lou’s. As soon as mom would get off work for the day, we would walk right down the street to pop in for a happy hour drink-

( water for me of course;). Within 5 minutes of our first visit, you can tell that most people in this bar are not new to this place and come by frequently. That should say something in itself. Everyone in the bar is very welcoming and friendly. Extra bonus: If you can behave, you are allowed off your leash. Now how often can you do that INSIDE of a bar? If you’re looking for a place where your hooman can enjoy an adult beverage on the “worlds smallest patio”, head on over to Lucky Lou’s Bar.

  • Bark Bar-American food- If you have visited my Play page, you may have seen me talk about Bark Bar. Not only is it a place to play and meet new friends, they have some delicious food & drinks for the hoomans.

  • Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro- New American Cuisine- Dogs are allowed on the outdoor enclosed patio.

  • Stickyz- Fried Chicken-Leashed dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio.

  • Fassler Hall- German food and beer garden- Leashed dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio.

  • Nexus Coffee Bar- Leashed dogs are allowed INSIDE. You read that right!

  • Le Pops Gourmet Iced Lollies-Located In the Heights- While dogs aren’t allowed inside, they do have some yummy doggy popsicles available for purchase! Watch the video of me experiencing my first popsicle below.

  • Mylo Coffee Co.- Located in Hillcrest- leashed dogs are allowed inside.

  • Mugs Cafe- Argenta- There are two locations but the one located in Argenta ( Dog Town),is the one you want to go to. Not only is their hooman food delicious but the employees are so friendly and they allow dogs INSIDE and will provide you with a special pup cup!

  • Brood & Barley-Fancy American food- Dogs are allowed outside on the patio. They will serve all the doggos extra large water bowls.

  • Four Corner Bar- American food- Located in Argenta, this bar is incredibly dog friendly because dogs are allowed inside! Take your hooman out for a burger (10/10), and live music!
