Ongoing…

Believe it or not, Northeast Ohio has a lot of awesome dog parks and daycares. There are even agility gyms and dog bars! You just have to do the research to find the good stuff. Luckily for you, all you have to do is keep reading to learn the best and coolest places you can play!

VALLEY VIEW DOG PARK

Located in my hometown of Wadsworth, Ohio, is Valley View Dog Park. Truly one of my favorite dog parks. If you’re in the area or live in Wadsworth, I highly recommend taking a trip here. There are two sides to this dog park. One for dogs under 30lbs, and one for dogs over 30 lbs. My favorite part about this park is the amount of space there is for running around. After all, that’s every dog’s dream, right? Both sides have a lot of room for play but the big dog’s side also has a good portion of shaded areas as well. This is nice during those hot summer days.

BONUS: Calling ALL Corgi’s- During the summer and fall, there are two corgi meet-up events where corgis from all over come play together. It is quite a special event. To learn more, give the Northeast Corgi Meet-Up a “like” on Facebook. You will not be disappointed.

BREAK TIME

After an hour of running around with my friends, it’s time to take a break on one of the many benches at this park.

CORGI FRIEND!

Meet my friend Bo. It’s always so fun when I see fellow corgi’s at the dog park.

PLAYTIME

Sometimes all you need to do is run around in a giant green space and there is plenty of that here at this dog park.

AGILITY FUN

A little gem that happens to be located in Downtown Wadsworth is a dog agility course. I took the beginner class and loved it. I definitely have a lot of practice to do but I really enjoyed it! Not only is it fun, but it is very mentally stimulating and another way to get obedience lessons in. Check out all the fun I had below.
